Next, students use their persuasive writing skills to help Tom convince families to eat hot dogs instead of turkey for their holiday meal. Includes a 2-3 day lesson plan with minilessons and lesson visuals to set the purpose and explain the premise, graphic organizer for prewriting, and everything you need to disguise a turkey pigeon and make the craft booklet. Also includes matching stationary for longer, additional persuasive writing pieces. Anchor chart visuals can be projected or printed and include color and blackline versions.
