Join Bolt, Penny, Mittens and Rhino as they race across the USA!
To play: First, shuffle the cards and place them face down in the middle of the group of players. The first player takes a card and identifies state. For a more challenging game, the student can identify the capital of the state. To help, there is a map of the USA to be kept separate for players to look at to help identify the states. Certain cards require you to put back a card, lose a turn, take an extra card or steal another player's card (in which the person 'stealing' the card must identify the state or capital). When all the cards are gone, whoever have the most cards wins. These can also be used a flashcards.
The final page can be used to print on the back of the playing cards to have a design while face-down. This is optional or you can make your own.
Identify the states.
Identify the capitals.
Identify such things as specific landmarks, flora and fauna from each state.
Identify the states around the state on the card.
NOTE: The states are alphabetical starting from page 1. BUT they are not to scale and states like Rhode Island appear bigger since the states are all the same size. Please see the preview to get an idea.
