Mickey Making Tens
Who: K, 1st, 2nd
What: Making Tens Student Booklet (use and arrange pages as needed)
Where: small groups, math stations, homework, whole group, interventions, etc.
When: Use this booklet as a reinforcement tool to your teaching of making tens facts or review for a struggling student.
Why: Use Mickey to make math learning fun!
How: Students use a crayon or marker to complete the tens frame by coloring in the remaining boxes. They write the two addition facts that make ten and write the missing number in Mickey’s ear. The final page is extra practice. For students who may be struggling, manipulatives can be used on the tens frame to help them visualize making tens!
