Conservation - This Educator's Guide to Conservation introduces students to water, energy, nature and waste conservation in a fun and entertaining way. Students will learn how the Disney Company conserves at its theme parks, resorts, cruise ships, and how it encourages others to conserve. There is a beautifully presented virtual field trip centered around Disney which includes several fun group activities that will encourage conservation. The unit ends with extended activities to keep conservation going all year long. The guide provides educators with a suggested 5-day order to present the content. The content is standard-based: Students will recognize the effects of pollution and humans on the environment.
