I love digital field trips because it gives my students an opportunity to be excited about learning, as well as see something they may not see otherwise. This Magic Kingdom digital field trip has students look up choices to travel to Disney World from their location. Would it be better to fly or drive? How long? How much? Students get to choose their own food from the Disney menu's at the restaurants, and we add all of it up at the end. The only thing that won't make sense is I have them look up tickets for 5 days in the parks. I did this so you would have the option to add my other Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom options as we go. (without figuring in the ticket). These are currently being developed and I will let everyone know when they are here! Please follow me on TpT & Instagram (rachaels classroom) to get the latest info!
Disney has always been one of my passions, and I have traveled there over 30x, so my idea was to make this as realistic as possible. Students will travel around the parks and make choices on which rides to ride, learn history and facts about those rides, and even compare and contrast similar attractions. The idea is to get them researching on the internet, minus the boredom of normal projects.
Hope you enjoy it! Feel free to look into my London, Costa Rica, Italy, and Germany digital field trips as well!
