These monster themed addition mats are the perfect tool to use year round with students. The mats cover addition problems with sums up to and including 10. Teachers can use these mats to teach the concept of adding two groups together in a visual and concrete way. These mats allow for students to see and manipulate groupings in different ways including ten frames. Once students understand the addition concept these mats can be used as independent practice. Students can use dry-erase, playdough or manipulatives with these mats.
