Description
Check out this easy-to-assign digital planet report that is sure to keep your class engaged. My students love doing research projects where they get to show their knowledge on a Google Slide. Keep is simple by assigning a research organizer with screencast videos helping learners create their project. Student examples give clear expectations for the finished product and quality of work. Get started today with this completely digital resource!
How it Works:
You will receive one document with links to the Planet Project components. The documents will be in “view only” so you will “make a copy” to edit and assign to students. More directions on suggested use are included.
What is Included:
- Planet Project Teaching Presentation: This Google Slide deck covers the requirements & expectations for the project. There are also links included to display student examples of finished projects.
- Planet Project Research Organizer: This includes an organizer with the listed requirements for the project. Students keep all their notes and information here before starting a Google Slide.
- Student Example Documents: These Google Slides & Docs show students what a finished product looks like.
- Planet Project Grading Rubric Google Doc: This rubric is aligned with the Student Requirements and makes it easy for teachers to check off what students did and didn’t cover.
- “How To” Screencasts: Short videos displaying how to create a new Google Slide deck, add a new slide, and share with the teacher.
What You Need:
- A Google email. By having a free Google email, you will have access to all Google Apps.
- Student devices. Students will need to access the documents using their own computer or Chromebook
- Google Classroom. It’s easiest to assign this resource in Google Classroom. That way, students can easily access the assignment and have their own unique copy. If you don’t have Google Classroom, there are still other ways to get this out to your students. Email me, and we can figure out what’s best.
Be sure to follow my store to be the first to know when I release new resources. New resources are 20% off the first day!
Please let me know how it goes! I love getting feedback from teachers and hearing how they implement resources with their students.
How to get TpT credit to use on future purchases:
Please go to your My Purchases page (you may need to login). Below each purchase, you will see a Provide Feedback button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. Each time you give feedback, TpT gives you credits that you can use towards future purchases!
Thank you!
