What educators are saying

I purchased this for a 3rd grade teacher in my building who borrowed all my explorer books. (I'm the school librarian) She couldn't say enough great things about it.
My students loved this as a project based center in our social studies block. It was well structured and gave great support for scaffolding.

Description

Have your class research European Explorers and show what they know with this flip book.

As a culminating project, this is a great way for the student to show what they know. Students love researching and it is a great way for them to review various sources, draw conclusions and practice summarizing. This can be used as a whole group, partner or individual assignment. This is a blank template that can be used with ANY European explorer. The links I provided cover John Cabot, Henry Hudson, Juan Ponce de Leon, Jacques Cartier and Hernando Cortez.

The flip book covers the following topics:
Early Life and Background
Explorations
Map of Travel
Accomplishments
Interesting Facts
Bibliography/Resources Reference

I provided 6 links- read as a class or add the links to Google Classroom if you are 1:1.

Also included are Bulletin Board letters to make a bulletin board to hang these beauties.
