This figurative speech packet is just what you need to teach idioms. Instead of overloading your students in a few weeks with mounds of idioms they are bound to forget, give them this fun activity where they will learn and work with one idiom every day of the school year. Fun and eye-catching photo-clipart hybrid pictures are including to show the literal meaning of each idiom, along with an organizer for each day of the month to work with the idiom in an authentic way so that students can internalize the meaning of each one.

This packet includes twenty idioms, meanings, pictures, and sentences that relate to the month of October (fall or autumn, Halloween).

Please download the sample to get a better look at the unit and please feel free to ask any questions. I will be putting a set up for each month of the year!
