Scavenger Hunt: One checklist page, Two checklist and facts pages

Insect Fact Cards: Organize insect descriptions, habitats, food, predators, prey and life cycle information on one of the 22 Fact Cards (also includes blank card template in case students want to record information about an insect not on the list)

Parts of an Insect Booklet: One four page booklet that reviews the parts of an insect (head, thorax, abdomen) with diagrams.

Insect Sorts: Four different sorts that classify insects by the following qualities: live above or below ground, fly or do not fly, diurnal or nocturnal, and the way they eat (chewing, drinking, piercing).

Graphing Activity: 4 pages to use for recording the favorite insects of classmates (5 insects compared on two pages and 6 insects compared on two pages) as well as 4 pages to graph the results and write about the findings.

Answer Key/Rubrics: Answer keys for all pages provided
