Distance Learning Note: One-on-one assessment during distance learning? It's not only possible - it's SO easy with this intervention and the help of Zoom! All you need to do is start a Zoom meeting with the student in need of intervention, share your screen, and work through this program with them. Easy to edit, easy to implement, and research-based!

Are you in need of an easy and effective intervention for students who struggle to learn letter names, letter sounds, sight words, or numbers? If so, your search is over!

This intervention uses Incremental Rehearsal (IR), which traditionally uses flash cards to introduce one unknown item at a time among 9 known items in a strategic order. The version I've created presents the info in an editable digital format, making it super easy to prep, personalize, and implement in your classroom! The design is very basic so that students are not distracted by the extras - it lets them focus on what they need to learn.

Several research studies have shown that Incremental Rehearsal (IR) is one of the most effective interventions for students needing to memorize information. It's a bit wordy to explain, so check out the preview to get a feel for how it works and read the full description in all its glory!
