Description
This bundle contains three writing rubrics in different formats: writing rubrics for informative, argumentative, and how-to (narrative) papers. Additionally, it has conferencing cards to guide students as they write. These writing rubrics are editable.
Each rubric is two pages. Page one contains an adjustable scale for technicalities, such as notecards, sources, works cited page, and formatting with MLA. The second page has a rubric for the paper's actual content for focus, support, organization, and conventions.
All three rubrics (informative, argumentative, how-to) are in three formats:
1. Power Point (editable). I share this digital format with my students. Delete or add any words/ slides as necessary.
2. Word Doc (editable). Edit and print!
3. PDF (not editable). Print and use.
Additionally, this bundle contains four cards to give students reminders as they work and as I conference with students. These cards reinforce what I've already taught them, and what is on the rubrics. The writing cards cover plagiarism, introductions, conclusions, and professional tone.
I have developed these rubrics after years of grading research papers. The rubrics address points that you will want to grade your students on.
