Want your students to have a way to practice math standards on the computer? This Google Slide activity is so easy to assign to students during distance learning. They can practice questions that align to the Common Core Standard and get instant feedback on their answers! No expensive subscriptions to computer-adaptive softwares needed! Just give your class the extra practice they need to feel confident in each math standard. Check out the attached video preview to see this resource in action!
How it Works:
You will receive one PDF document with a link to the Google Slide deck. This link is in “force copy” format, so you will make your own copy by clicking. Then, you can assign your copy however you’d like.
What is Included:
- 1 Google Slide deck with over 50 slides.
- 10 separate questions aligning to the 5.OA.A.1 standard.
- Automatic feedback provided to students as they complete the activity
- Teacher directions for use and screencast explaining how to assign in Google Classroom
Common Core State Standard Covered:
- 5.OA.A.1 (Fifth Grade: Use parentheses, brackets, or braces in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with these symbols.)
What You Need:
- A Google email. By having a free Google email, you will have access to all Google Apps.
- Student devices. Students will need to access the document using their own computer or Chromebook
- Google Classroom. It’s easiest to assign this resource in Google Classroom. That way students can easily access the assignment and mark it complete when they finish. If you don’t have Google Classroom, there are still other ways to get this out to your students. Email me, and we can figure out what’s best.
