This is a great multisensory power point resource based on the principles of Orton Gillingham, also known as Structured Language Literacy using Google Slides R. Students have numerous opportunities to practice each vowel sound. This multisensory resource includes specific focus for each short vowel. What is great about this resource is that it was originally a Google Slide presentation that was converted to Power Point. The students are still able to type in their responses in each text box

Be sure to look at the preview file since most of the resource is provided so that you can determine if this resource is best fitted for your students' needs.

This resource will help teachers and parents looking to provide a quality and multisensory approach to learning the sounds of the short vowels.

Included in each short vowel lesson:

Introductory slide focused on each specific short vowel

Visual for each short vowel

Word lists - basic and advanced lists

Word phrases to develop reading fluency and to support sentence structure

development both orally and through writing.

Controlled reading sentences to develop reading fluency

Sight word assessment, skill development, and post assessment

Writing activity that helps with manipulation of words into a proper sentence.

Skills strategy development for reading: decoding, encoding, vocabulary,

Rating this product:

Since this bundle is designed to cover a variety of grades, when it comes to rating, please consider the N/A option when specific aspects of the lesson are not suited to students’ needs. As previously shared in this description, this bundle is designed and priced so that teachers and parents can select lessons for students. However, please email me if you find “typos or overwrites” prior to rating this lesson. Why? I would appreciate the opportunity to make the change, if needed, before it is rated. Thank you for your consideration when rating.
