Description

Throughout these hands-on lessons, plants will be explored in a logical fashion. First, the life cycle of plants will be reviewed through examining the parts and functions of a seed and plant. Then, photosynthesis will be discussed. This will lead into a comparison of angiosperms and gymnosperms. The series will conclude with an artistic project.

A hand-drawn diagram of a plant and a seed (plus answer keys) are included in the appendices. You can print them out for students to use or laminate one copy and label it with a dry erase marker. Illustrations of the parts of a plant life cycle and a chart for students to note their observations regarding their growing seed are also included in the appendices.

Homeschooling and Homesteading always includes a vocabulary list and a comprehensive list of materials needed.
