The resource is an activity where students get to participate in the data collection and the data calculation as they find their average speed at different distances. The activity is one that you can set up inside or outside and includes directions, activity sheets with tables to record data, reflection questions, an extension activity, a mini-lesson/review, and exit tickets. All you need to have are stopwatches/phones, measuring tape, chalk or tape/markers, and students!
