This Distance Time Graph Practice is perfect to practice with your students and show them how to complete a Distance time Graph from beginning to end. You can use this worksheet to either guide your students step by step, have students work independently or start on it with them and then walk around as they complete the rest. Either way it is a great fun activity for the kids. Students will first label their graphs by naming and numbering their X and Y axis on the graph. From there they will plot the points and connect the lines for each racer. After they have completed the lines on the graph you can then have the students label what is happening with each racer throughout each line. Ex. constant speed, decreasing speed, stationary or going backwards just to name a few.
