Two worksheets included --> one distance, one midpoint
Students pair up and assign one to be partner A and one to be partner B.
Each student completes his/her own problem. After each one, they check their answers with each other. If both students worked the problem correctly, they should get the same answer as their partner (self-checking!). They write down their *single* answer in the "Answer" column (easy checking for the teacher!).
This worksheet is collaborative and easy to check. You can print the midpoint and distance worksheets individually if you teach the concepts separately, or print them double-sided if you teach the concepts together.
The activity takes about 15-30 minutes to complete depending on your level of students. I used it as a station activity with a little over 15 minutes to complete the activity.
(Note - the preview shows that the distance formula worksheet has a graph for each problem. Please know that this is true for the first problem set ONLY. The next three problems for the distance formula do not have graphs that accompany them.)
