4 decks of distributive law matching cards. For example, the card “2(a-3)” has the matching card “2a - 6”. The decks increase in complexity: Deck 1 uses only whole numbers (no variables) with pairs like “5 x 12” matching “5 x 10 + 5 x 2”. Deck 2 uses variables with matches like “2(a-3)” = “2a – 6”. Deck 3 uses variables, and the variable’s coefficient is not always the GCF. For example “2(11a – 3)” matches “22a – 6”. In Deck 4 some cards use 3 terms and/or 2 variables and/or decimals.
The decks may be used to play any matching game, including Concentration (face-up or face-down). They can be used for class warmup, for group work/math centers, and for sending home for extra practice with family.
♦ Multiple deck file included:

: Simply print the multi-deck file and make 2 cuts to have a complete deck. No margins to trim and the deck is already collated.

**** DO NOT ADJUST/”FIX” THE PAPER MARGINS ****
**** PRINT ONLY ONE COPY OF THE 15 DECK FILES ****
You may get a warning when printing that the margins are small, and that some content will be cut-off. Ignore this warning; the card deck files use table cell margins instead of paper margins, and no content will be cut off.
