This worksheet can be used after reading the beginning of Divergent, or while reading Divergent. There is a chart for students to fill in the following for each faction: who is in the faction, the beliefs of that faction, the way that faction dresses, how that faction acts, and what that faction values.
It is a really great way to not only help students monitor their own comprehension of who is who in this novel, but also to work on their comparison and contrasting skills. This worksheet serves as a great prewrite activity for a compare/contrast essay, too.
