Pages 3-4 of this packet are problems that are meant for guided practice. This includes using models to divide with decimals as well as space to solve using either partial quotients or standard algorithm.
The other pages of this packet include a memory game for students to play with partners or in small groups.
Tips for setting up the game:
-The student directions on page 5-8 are meant to be copied and laminated. You could print two to a page. This provides students with a work space to solve each problem during the game. On pages 5-6, there is a version with hundreds charts in the work space for those students who prefer to use the model to solve. Pages 7-8 are a version without hundreds charts.
-Pages 9-12 are the cards used for matching. They are meant to be printed double-sided so that students know which cards are quotient cards and which are expression cards. It’s even more helpful to print the quotient cards and expression cards on different colored paper.
-To save copies, print one set of directions for each group and allow them to use white boards or scratch paper to do their solving.
