This resource provides instructional materials for teaching students how to divide decimals.

The resource is divided into 6 sections based on the type of decimal division problem you’re teaching:

• dividing decimals by whole numbers
• dividing whole numbers by decimals
• dividing decimals by decimals (with the same # of decimal places in the dividend and divisor)
• dividing decimals by decimals (with a different # of decimal places in the dividend and divisor)
• dividing decimals by decimals in which you have to annex a zero in the dividend
• dividing decimals by decimals using a visual model

What You Get:

• Notes page(s)
• Practice questions
• A page with the notes and practice questions on one sheet to easily be printed and put into student composition books
• 2 practice pages (one version has 4 problems on one page and another version has the same four problems, but two problems are on each page – helpful for students who may need more room or if you’d like to put these into composition books and need more space to show work)
• 2 homework pages
• Exit tickets to assess your students quickly throughout the unit

A quiz is provided at the end to assess mastery
