Dividing Fractions made fun! Instead of doing another boring worksheet, try a scavenger hunt and get the kids out of their seats and moving around while practicing dividing fractions! My students are always highly engaged when I use a scavenger hunt! This self-checking scavenger hunt consists of 10 problems that require students to divide a whole number by a fraction or a fraction by a fraction. There are several word problems included.
Post the pages around your room in a random order. The students may start on any letter they choose. They first solve the problem on the top of the page. They can organize their progress and show all of their work on the accompanying student work page. Then, they are to find the answer to their problem on the bottom of another page. They then solve the problem on the top of that page. They continue around the room until they return to the first page where they started their scavenger hunt. The letters spell a word (provided in the teacher directions) when solved in the correct order. Enjoy!
