Product Description
This activity/worksheet helps students understand why dividing a smaller fraction by a larger fraction will yield a fraction less than one visually. I like to tell my students that dividing a larger fraction by a smaller fraction is like Cinderella's ugly step-sister tying to shove her big fat foot into the glass slipper. It won't fit so some of her foot will be hanging off the back of the slipper. The answer is the fraction of her foot that fit into the shoe. All of a sudden things start to make sense. 6.NS.1 Great for RSP students and language learners.
