Be sure that you have an application to open this file type before downloading and/or purchasing.
This PowerPoint contains notes/steps about how to divide fractions by fractions and how to turn mixed numbers into improper fractions in order to divide them. There are two example problems, one with only fractions and another with mixed numbers.
The presentation is designed to be used to introduce the topic or at the end of a unit to summarize the concepts. The teacher can present the PPT so that the students can take notes, have a class discussion, or both. Slides can be printed for students to put into interactive notebooks as well.
Additionally, this file can be uploaded to Google Classroom as a Google Slides document and viewed on "Present" mode if you would like students to use this individually or even at home for front-loading or summarizing a lesson.
The 7 slides are designed to present the information a bit at a time. They are not 7 unique slides, but rather use animation to add information a piece at a time so that teachers can present the information without overwhelming the students with too much, too quickly.
Designed to align well with Carnegie Learning Middle School Math Solution: Course 1 - Module 1, Topic 2, Lesson 3.
