Description

I believe that children need basic skills practice before they are to tackle word problems. This set of task cards gets progressively more difficult for students so that the teacher can pinpoint where students need more help or can be challenged.

This is a set of task cards that focuses on CCSS 4NBT6 (dividing whole numbers).

*Included are 60 task cards and an answer key.

Cards 1-16 have 2-digit divided by 1-digit problems.

17-32 have 3-digit divided by 1-digit problems.

33-48 have 4-digit divided by 1-digit problems

49-60 have word problems where division is necessary.

The first 8 cards in each set of division problems have no remainder while the second 8 have remainders included!

I project 1 card at a time and have them answer on whiteboards. We also work in pairs so that they can teach each other.
