This download is comprised of two short sets of notes and a corresponding homework assignment.
The first handout is notes about divisibility, and lists a set of mental shortcuts for determining divisibility by 2-10. There is a set of examples for the back of the notes. The key for these examples lists all factors, (not just those covered in the lesson) just in case the teacher uses this lesson after teaching factoring and/or prime factorization.
The second handout is a short lesson on equivalent fractions.
The homework assignment is 25 questions and covers both lessons.
This can all be covered in one 45-50 minute class period or split over two days depending on your students' abilities
