Division Activity - Monster Play Doh Mats - Equal Groups
Laminate these fun play dough mats to provide a motivating learning experience for your students.
Students roll play dough balls and squash them to make a monster body. They can say the simple rhyme as they make it. They then count out the nominated amount of 'wiggly eyes' and sort them into equal groups on the monster's eyelids. This will help students practice division by sorting into equal groups.
Students can also drag their finger in the doh to make a 'frown' for their monster. This activity is encouraging many dough skills that will help your students five motor strength.
This packet includes 10 mats, each showing a number of eyes from 2 to 20.
