Crawling through division can be used in small groups or math centers. It is played similarly to BINGO. I use it as a game throughout our division unit. We begin with one divisor at a time, but as students become more familiar with division facts, we add in more divisors, eventually using it as a mixed division review.
This game is great for differentiated instruction and intervention because you can choose to focus on one specific divisor a group of students needs more practice with or to challenge students by adding more divisors.
The 16 page packet includes:
-Information sheet about the game
-Student friendly game instructions
-Division cards (dividing by 2 - dividing by 12)
-6 quotient caterpillars. The quotients on each caterpillar are in different orders. These caterpillars can be used for each divisor (2-12).
