Each Division Task Card has a picture representing a division story. Students interpret the picture and determine the quotient.
According to CCSS.Math.Content.3.OA.A.2, students should be able to recognize and discriminate between two interpretations of the quotient:
1). a quotient may represent a number of shares, or
2). a quotient may represent a number of objects per share (a unit rate).
Each Division Card in this set presents a scene that covers one or the other of these interpretations.
There are 288 different Division Cards.
