This graphic organizer is a great tool for differentiation for students who struggle with division and who struggle keeping count of how many dots, circles, etc they have put into groups. . At the top of the graphic organizer there is a visual example for students to refer back to in order to remember the steps of creating equal groups.
To use the graphic organizer students:
1. write the equation
2. circle the amount of groups they need
3. alternate between groups as they put dots until they have reached the number
4. count the number of dots in one group
