This pack includes 60 mats - with black & white graphics to save your ink!
With this product, students will build division pictures.
Here is how they work in my classroom:
I bought small, fun-shaped erasers from the Dollar Spot at Target that are stored in small buckets. Students use them during math rotations as part of our “hands on” station to practice building multiplication & division facts. I store my mats in a bin with several buckets of erasers and a few ultra fine dry erase markers. Students take a bucket and several mats, and find somewhere in the classroom to start building!
(any small manipulatives of which you have a large quantity work well, so don't feel as though you need to go and purchase more materials - unless you want to!)
They work great as a center while helping students build a strong foundation for understanding multiplication. They also work great in small groups as well as a tool for RTI.
You can also project these onto a SmartBoard and allow students to write on and manipulate with them too!
If you have any questions - feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am happy to answer questions and help with any difficulties you are having, prior to as well as after your purchase!
