PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

These DIFFERENTIATED long division task cards are great to reinforce division of 3-digit and 4-digit numbers. There are 48 different task cards included in this set of problems. The division problems are shown in two different formats so that students become accustomed to seeing problems written both ways.

Terrific differentiation!

Here is how it is laid out:

Cards 1 – 8 have 3 digit dividends with no remainders.
Cards 9 - 24 have 3 digit dividends with remainders.
Cards 25 – 32 have 4 digit dividends with no remainders.
ards 33 - 48 have 4 digit dividends with remainders.

One sheet of blank, un-numbered task cards in each color is also included, which allows you to create your own division problems unique to your class and needs. I also love to have students design division cards of their own. Laminating task cards will make them last longer.

My favorite way to use these division task cards is to prepare for assessments, and I also like the idea of students making their own division problems to share with classmates. Additional uses for task cards include early finishers, class warm ups, absent student work, reinforcement for small groups and individual students, or as a class game.

Task cards can be used with traditional board games by requiring the students to correctly answer a task card in order to “earn” their turns. They can be printed and cut apart for the students to use as entry tickets or exit tickets, and quick formative assessments.

A student answer recording sheet is included in this division set so that students can show their work along with their answers.
