Students will divide up to four-digit dividends by two-digit divisors resulting in up to three-digit quotients and remainders as the try to capture Jaw Breaker. Note: the orange Jaw Breakers go with lesson 22 and the green Jaw Breakers go with lesson 23, so you can have your students do only the orange cards first if they have not made it to lesson 23 yet in Eureka. Engage NY math. Note: there are only 10 cards in this deck so that students get adequate practice without having the activity be too time-consuming.
There is a random "Capture the Monster" boom card in each game, but you can also reward students with the printed collectible cards that they can color and collect.
