This activity contains 158 stimuli targeting subjective, objective, possessive, and reflexive pronouns given fields of two, three, and six answer choices. A short definition page explains each pronoun type and provides a list of the possible pronouns in each category.
Each pronoun type is first targeted in a four page activity (for a total of 24 stimuli per pronoun type). Two answer choices are provided for each stimuli at this level. Next, nine pages of stimuli are provided that contain a mixture of the four types of pronouns; students are required to identify the pronoun that best completes each sentence given a field of two or three answer choices. Last,
fill-in-the-blank sentences are provided; students must match the pronoun with its appropriate sentence from a field of six answer choices.
It is suggested that the pages be printed in color and then laminated for continuous use. If do-a-dot (or bingo) markers
are unavailable, students can color in the correct answer circles using dry erase markers.
I hope you find this activity to be a fun and effective way to teach both native English speakers and English language learners (ELLs)
about the various types of pronouns and how to successfully use them during every day communication! Thanks for stopping by my store! Trista B
