This is a simple worksheet for students to record their opening and closing activities for the week. I originally created this for my Social Studies class because I was frustrated with having too many papers, and I wanted to simplify my system of organization. And it works!
When students come into the classroom, they immediately start recording their Do Now on this worksheet. There is a space for each day of the week. The back of the worksheet has a space for two Exit Tickets. Twice a week I like to end class with having students practice writing body paragraphs. This easily takes up plenty of space, but the design allows both closing paragraphs to be on one side of the worksheet.
This is also an easy way to keep student data in one place. At any point in the week, you can easily collect the worksheet, grade it as you see fit, see any trends or misconceptions, and address it in the following class.
Be sure to make double sided copies to keep it all on one page. I hope this is a helpful resource!
