Do They Rhyme ?
This is a great rhyme literacy station or center activity that can be done independently. The teacher can check it after it is completed.
There are 38 cards with rhyming pictures and 31 cards with non-rhyming pictures. Be sure that each child has some of both. The children clip either a clothespin or a large paper clip on yes or no under the picture to answer the question. You could also have them place some type of marker like a unifix cube on top of the correct answer. Children can swap cards with another child after they are checked. This activity is good to reinforce rhyme and a good assessment tool.
