These boards play as regular Sudoku, except the numbers are written out in words.
More fun with Sudoku
While the numbers 1-9 are the only numbers used in Sudoku puzzles, there are a few ways that you can use these puzzles to practice larger numbers. Just by adding the numbers (either rows or column) the total is 45. You can have the students subtract their age from 45. Some other suggestions are to have the students multiply the numbers diagonally; add/subtract/multiply the numbers in the four corners; add/multiply the numbers in the center of each of the 9 squares. If you have the students add the numbers in the row it will total 45. Possibilities are endless.
These puzzles can be used as extra practice for Spanish numbers in class, or as substitute work, or homework assignments.
20 pages of puzzles. 3 pages of Answer Keys.
