Do your students LOVE the hit song 'Do You Want to Build A Snowman?'
Do you hear them singing it all day long?
Are you working on addition?
I personally LOVE the song as well- and cannot get it out of my head- so I came up with a song about addition to the tune- added in a few work mats, dice and a recording sheet and here is a fun FREEBIE for you are your students to sing about while they learn!
This Pack Includes:
*Song for Addition (color & b&w)
Tune: Do You Want To Build A Snowman?
*Work mat to use with the song (color & b&w)
*2 dice (0-5 and +0 to +5)
(you will need connecting cubes, counters, etc)
How To Play:
Students roll the dice (you can use dice you have or construct these dice), put that many cubes/counters on/in the left circle of the mat. Then roll again (either the same dice or the +# dice [if you want to practice addition ‘language’] and put that many on the right side circle of the mat. They put them together in the middle rectangle. Can record their sentence on the recording sheet.
