This activity encourages students to interpret and use a variety of sources to respond to questions or prompts, allowing student to think like historians by gathering, analyzing, and organizing information from the sources provided. Students are required to think critically by interpreting and developing meaning, rather than just restating a textbook ‘s interpretation.
