PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a simple graphic organizer for the IMAX film "The Greatest Places." It's a good way to keep the students engaged and taking notes, but unburdened with lengthy written answers.

This focus of this worksheet is on the physical and human characteristics of the various places shown in the film. You may need to discuss with your students ahead of time the terminology of physical characteristics and human characteristics. This would make a nice addition to a science unit of ecosystems/biomes or a social studies/geography unit.

The worksheet ends with a compare/contrast writing piece that may be done for homework or as a ticket out the door depending on the level of ability and skills of your students.
