Help your students practice decimal concepts with these fun and interactive partner Bump games! The only materials needed are two dice and 10 markers in one color and 10 in another color. I like using linking cubes since they can be “locked,” but any other type of marker also works well.
This set includes TWO different Bump games: Word & Standard Form AND Base 10 Blocks.
For the Word & Standard Form Bump game, students find the word form of a decimal based on their dice roll. They then have to find the corresponding decimal in standard form on the game mat and cover it with their marker.
For the Base 10 Blocks Bump game, students find the standard form of a decimal based on their dice roll. They then have to find the corresponding base 10 picture representation of the decimal on the game mat and cover it with their marker.
Your students will love trying to “Bump” each other off the game mats!
