A great activity that combines an old classroom game with the math concepts of coordinate graphing and ordered pairs (1st quadrant only).
Students will help Doggie find his bone by plotting the location of ordered pairs on a coordinate graph. (An optional, SmartBoard file is available in my store that goes with this lesson.) Students will plot points on their own papers, while a coordinate graph is continually being done by all the members in the class. In the end, students will find that Doggie had his bone in his house the whole time.
