High frequency Dolch Noun Cards can be used to study as flash cards or cut and use as puzzles for a center or take home packet. Each card is available in color and black and white. The size is perfect for storing in a baggie. Send a few specific cards or the whole group home with a child for a practice.
The cards are bright and cheerful with clear graphics.
I have laminated a few sets and use them in different ways.
--As flashcards along with my pocket chart set (coming soon) to introduce and review words.
--Place the whole cards on the table with magnetic letters for a spelling primer.
--Cut in half and use as puzzles. Place one half in a sensory bucket filled with rice or beans and kiddos can hunt for matches.
--Hide one half around the room for a treasure hunt.
--Use as a game. Place the word of each picture on the board with tape. Show a child a picture and they must run to the board and find the matching word. This can be used with each student finding a word individually or as teams. (Great for indoor recess)
--Print out a black and white set and have children color. They can take them home to practice or use them at school.
A great item for the Special Education classroom.
