It can be difficult to make reading fun, especially for beginning readers and struggling readers. As a teacher of children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and autism, I can attest that students will want to read and enjoy reading when given engaging activities like this one!
This document includes all of the words on the Dolch Pre-Primer sight word list! It is a great addition to your literacy and or word work center!

1. Students can read the sight words on the lemons and the teacher can sort them on the lemonade stand sorting mats (Words Mastered, Words to be Reviewed, and Words to be Learned). This is a great way to continue to spiral back to words learned to see if students recall them. It is also a fun way to take data!
2. Students can pick a lemon, read the word, and use it in a sentence!
3. Students can pick a lemon, read the word, and write it down to practice spelling the word.
4. Teacher can pick a lemon out of a basket and ask the student to spell the word, then the student could check their own spelling by reading the word on the lemon.
The activities are endless! I hope that you and your students enjoy them as much as my students do!
