Sight words are SO important for students to master, but learning them can prove to be a little boring! Therefore, I have put a bit of a spin on the rather drab Dolch sight word lists. To liven them up, I have given each list (25 words) an animal theme. Students love to brag that they passed their "Fox" words and have moved on to the "Monkey" words! I also incorporate an incentive program to further encourage the children to work at mastering their words. I have been using this program with great success in my classroom for over 5 years. The children love the fun animal characters and challenge of mastering a sight word list. I love that it helps them learn their sight words quickly!!
Set 1 covers the first three lists of Dolch sight words (a total of 75 words).
