This is a Three in a Row game played in a similar way to BINGO. I have only 9 words on the cards so that the children are not overwhelmed with too many words at a time. This set is designed for small group play to reinforce fluency of the sight words. There are 4 sets of cards, 6 cards in each set. I have split the Grade 1 list of 41 words into 4 groups. Each group has a different color so you can keep them separate. The calling cards are also labeled by color. I have also included background pages to print on the back sides of the calling cards, if desired. Just print, laminate, and cut out, and you are ready to play. All you need is a set of chips or counters for each player. If you like this set, please check out my other sets using Primer and Pre Primer sight words. Have fun!
Teacher Tip: Print the calling cards on cardstock or heavy weight paper so the words don’t show through to the back.
