These Roll-Read-Move Partner Game pages are designed to support students as they read 220 Dolch sight words at the Pre-primer, Primer, Grade One, Grade Two and Grade Three levels. All game pages are coded with the game number in the upper-right corner and the specific list level in the lower-left corner. These hands-on games are designed to be played with a partner. Each game page has two parts focused on 6 different sight words. The first part engages students in a hands-on experience as they roll a six-dot die and read the corresponding sight word matching the number rolled. The second part requires students the roll a die, read the corresponding word as they did in part 1, but this time, advance their game marker one space on the game board path for each correct response. Both parts provide multiple opportunities for students to strengthen their instant sight word recognition through repetitive practice in a hands-on, game-like way. To add a writing component, give students a recording sheet on which to write the 6 focus words on handwriting lines and in the corresponding numbered spaces of a grid comprised of 12 spaces. The diagrams on page 5 provide more details about the parts of both the game page and the recording sheet.
