Dolch - Third Grade Sight Words - Handwriting
Students need to practice sight words and also forming letters correctly. This resource combines both printing and sight word learning. As a reading teacher, I see many students that don't know sight words and also don't know how to form their letters. This item addresses both.
**As a general rule, I don't recommend lots of TRACING of words. Students must learn the path the letters need to take. Also, forcing struggling students to conform to writing on lines all the time is probably not the best, especially if you want them to get the message down when writing. This is why I have left blank space at the bottom of each word and no lines. I realize they must learn to use lines part of the time for testing purposes, etc.
Words included: about, better, bring, carry, clean, cut, done, draw, drink, eight, fall, far, full, got, grow, hold, hot, hurt, if, keep, kind, laugh, light, long, much, myself, never, only, own, pick, seven, shall, show, six, small, start, ten, today, together, try, warm
There is also a title page included in case you want to make into a sight words book for seatwork or homework. I have also included a page discussing how to use this resource.
