Description
Athletes need warm ups. Musicians need warm ups. Did you realize readers need warm ups, too?
Why use Dolch Warm Up Phrases Bundle? Research tells us sight words are best learned in phrases. These basic sight words are repeated frequently in phrases to help children learn.
How it works: I always start readers with a warm up exercise that's below their instructional reading level. Experts say children should read words in phrases rather than in isolation. Reading these phrases for a few minutes will have the children warmed up and ready for more instruction. The phrases can be read from copied sheets, or can be cut out and read as individual phrases for shuffling. They also make a great center for individuals or for partners to practice as a team.
What’s included: This resource has all Pre-primer through Third Grade Dolch words combined into 210 different phrases for sight word practice. Each phrase is colorful and fun to read. It’s very easy to differentiate for readers of different levels!
